BUGS, BOOKS AND BEYOND
This is a special program designed to promote reading at schools and libraries featuring live bugs and exotic animals from around the world. Bugs, Books and Beyond will fascinate young readers of all ages! This hands-on program begins with a discussion about the importance of bugs in our ecosystem (without bugs, plants would die and without plants, everything on earth would die!). We continue with an exploration of the many aspects of a bug's world including body parts, habitat and food sources. Next, we explore animals that eat bugs and thus establish a food chain that allows us to introduce amphibians, mammals and reptiles. This program is a unique look at how very important bugs are to our world! All presentations by our veteran animal handler. All animals are handled, cared for and presented humanely, with respect for their needs first! Fascinating! Your audience will have a great day of learning while enjoying BUGS, BOOKS and BEYOND!
